Michael joined Hightower as senior investment analyst in October 2018 and has over 10 years of experience in investment research.
He began his career at Moody’s Analytics as an economist. He was in charge of analyzing market conditions, constructing and maintaining forecasts in Eviews, and preparing periodic analysis and reports regarding residential homeownership outlook. From there, Michael gained experience at PNC, where he provided investment strategy for private clients of the bank. He monitored market developments and identified macro risks to PNC portfolios. He also was responsible for preparing compliance-approved materials for distribution to portfolio managers and client advisors including performance attribution, commentary and analyst notes.
Michael is a candidate in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program. He graduated from George Washington University.
As a native of Wisconsin, he cheers on the Packers, Brewers and Badgers. When he’s not brushing up on his investment knowledge, Michael pursues his interest in world travel and endurance sports, including marathons and triathlons.
